A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011 (for sale or lease of Property)

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of the Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to dispose of:

  • Grant a long lease of airspace for the construction of a new pedestrian / cycle bridge (including service crossings) alongside the existing Spring Hill Bridge on the A457 Dudley Road Birmingham.  The approximate location of the proposed bridge is shown, for identification purposes only, edge red on the plan to this notice. The approximate position of the pedestrian access onto the towpath is indicated by the letter A on the plan to this notice.
  • The proposal will not impact on the use of the navigation.

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of the Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to dispose of:

  • Airspace over land comprising part of the Upper Trent, Nottingham and Beeston Canal at Castle Wharf, Nottingham NG1 7EH shown edged and hatched in blue on the plan to this notice (to be used to retain existing loading timber platforms in situ), which is owned by the Charity (the Property).

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011 (for sale or lease of Property)

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of the Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to:-

  • Dispose of its freehold interest in airspace around the existing railway bridge located on the Kingswood Arm of the North Stratford Canal near Lapworth. The location of the railway bridge is shown for indicative purposes shown verged in red on the plan to this notice.
  • This disposal will enable the bridge to be widened to 11.553 metres and lowered by no more than 3.3 metres above the normal water level of the waterway and will not impact on the use of the navigation.

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011

  • Grant a Surface Water Drainage Licence to permit the installation of 4 x surface water outfall pipes and 2 x gullies laid within the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Towpath, Pottery Road, Wigan. The route of the outfall pipes will be as shown marked A, B, C, D, E & F on the plan to this notice.

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011 (for sale or lease of Property)

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of the Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to:– 

  • Dispose of its freehold interest in an area of land near Schoolhouse Bridge, Crickheath. The location of which is shown edged in red on the plan to this notice.
  • Enter a Deed of Grant relating to Schoolhouse Bridge which will facilitate the restoration of the bridge.
  • Grant a surface water discharge licence to allow clean surface water from Schoolhouse Bridge and its approach roads to drain to the canal.

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011 (for grant of rights over Property)

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of the Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to grant rights of way by foot and vehicle for the following :-

  • to resurface, upgrade, inspect, clean repair, maintain and renew over and along the roadway from Canal Street to the adjoining property known as former Home Guard Club , Northgate locks, Canal Street Chester, CH1 4EJ which is owned by the Charity.
  • to install and/or connect into service media to service the adjoining property together with rights of entry for such purpose and for future maintenance, inspection, cleansing, repairing, renewing, replacing, upgrading purposes.
  • for the free passage of utilities servies through Service Media.

The Trust is also proposing to enter into wayleaves/easements as appropriate with utility providers and/ or the local authority and /or the highways authority and or other appropriate public bodies in connection with the adoption of service media, or in connection with highways works to the adjoining property.
