How to get involved

Did you know there are loads of ways you can get involved with our canals and rivers here in our South Wales & Severn region.

From one off volunteering days with our Towpath Taskforce to using your technical or specialist skills with us more often – you can get involved and volunteer as much or as little as you can on the South Wales & Severn waterways. And don’t worry – you’ll get all the appropriate training, encouragement and ongoing support to help you make the most of helping us.

For instance, right now all you need is a smile to be part of our Worcester welcome station.

Get involved as a group

Does your school, scout group, community group or business team want to lend a hand? You can! We work with lots of groups who have adopted part of their local waterway. But your group can get involved in other ways – talk to Caroline Kendall, Volunteer Development Coordinator to find out how.
