Our towpaths remain open, but please follow the latest government advice around social distancing.
Following advice issued by Government regarding New National Restrictions from 4 January 2021, we are suspending our current events programme until 22 February 2022.
We will continuously review the situation and adjust the dates if restriction lockdown measures are continued or extended but currently after 22 February each event will be reviewed on a case by case basis and no event which could put both those attending or our staff and volunteers at risk will be permitted.
We are accepting applications for third party events that commence after 22 February 2021, however all organisers must review our public spaces protocol and fully explain in their application and risk assessment how they will mitigate any coronavirus safety risks.
We will continue to follow the latest government advice and will post updates if the advice changes. Please check individual event details, follow us on social media and sign-up to our email for the latest information. Our latest advice on coronavirus can be found here.

Every year we spend millions of pounds on our planned winter maintenance programme and this year is no exception.
We are running eight virtual open days, which will give you behind-the-scenes access to some of our biggest projects. You’ll get to hear from the project team and be able to view our work up close, from the comfort of your own home.

We also have a range of volunteering opportunites that you can take part in. If you're keen to volunteer for the Trust then have a look at our volunteer opportunities page for further information.
