We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.

How to get involved

Did you know there are loads of ways you can get involved here in our region?

From one off volunteering days with our Towpath Taskforce to using your technical or specialist skills with us more often – you can get involved and volunteer as much or as little as you can on the Kennet & Avon Waterways. And don’t worry – you’ll get all the appropriate training, encouragement and ongoing support to help you make the most of helping us.

Get involved as a group

Does your school, scout group, community group or business team want to lend a hand? You can! We work with lots of groups who have adopted part of their local waterway. But your group can get involved in other ways – talk to Steve Manzi to find out how.
