Whilst the museum is closed we would like to invite you take part in our online Easter activities at the National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port.
The Easter Boat Gathering is an annual festival in which dozens of historic narrowboats from across the UK come together as a community to celebrate canal and folk heritage at the museum. The weekend usually kicks off with a flotilla of boats arriving at the museum, followed by four days of folk music performances, theatre, traditional craft stalls, heritage demonstrations, boat trips and an array of family-friendly activities and workshops.
As the museum isnt able to host an in-person Easter Boat Gathering in 2021, look out for memories across our social media and get creative ti our art competition.
