Thanking our supporters on #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday is the global day of giving which heralds the start of a more charitable season of goodwill.

After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom of Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity for us all to come together to show the world why it’s good to give.

If you’ve donated your time or money or supported us another way, we want to say a huge thank you. That’s why we’re getting involved with Giving Tuesday to show our appreciation to all of our amazing Friends and volunteers.

Thousands of volunteers and generous donations

Giving Tuesday also gives us the opportunity to showcase some of the work we do and what your support has helped us achieve. Many people don’t realise that our waterways rely on the support of thousands of volunteers and generous donations.

There are so many ways in which people can and have supported us such as donating to fix the Middlewich Breach, volunteering with Towpath Taskforce, joining us as a volunteer lock keeper or leaving us a legacy. Your support is vital and we are very grateful for everything you do.

Thank you
