We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.
Fancy a shopping day with a difference? Our peaceful canals and rivers are a world away from the bustle of the high street – and you’ll be amazed what you can find on them.
From speciality coffee to fine art and pirate paraphernalia, our floating traders offer a surprisingly diverse retail experience. But it’s not all wild and wonderful, you can also head to your local canal for life’s essentials such as a cuppa or a haircut.
As well as agreeing that life’s better by water our boating businesses all have one thing in common, they’ve swapped the noise of the city centre for the tranquillity of the towpath. Why don’t you do the same? Explore what’s local to you using our maps, or take a look below for a taste of what our canals have to offer.
Treat yourself to a day of retail therapy that leaves you feeling refreshed and re-energised.
