For kids: Make chocolate spiders

This easy activity is fun for children of all ages.

Gloucester Docks

Did you know that chocolate 'crumb' used to be shipped from the Caribbean to Gloucester Docks, and then taken by canal boat to the Cadbury's factory in Birmingham?

Our education team have created all kinds of resources for schools and youth groups, which you can also use at home. This activity combines a history lesson with a bit of cooking.

If you’ve got noodles and chocolate in your kitchen cupboard, you can get messy making some of our chocolate spiders. Make sure you give them the right number of legs though! (They should have eight).

Follow our recipe the first time, then experiment with some of your favourite flavours.
