The South East is home to a range of canals, embracing Herts, Bucks, Northampton, Leicester, Warwick and Oxford; rich in both picturesque hamlets and large urban regions.
Locally there is a whole host of places to visit and admire including 307 listed buildings, four scheduled ancient monuments, 30 conservation areas and four SSSIs (Sites for Specific Scientific Interest). Not to mention The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne and Foxton Locks.
Along with our partnership, we cherish these waters and aim to maintain them as best we can.
Our diverse waterway is an important contribution to the economy and quality of life here in the South East.
