Family and educational visits

Explore our exhibits, test your strength, learn about wildlife on the waterways with our wildlife trail, dress up in traditional boaters clothes, bet the clock to load a barge in our interactive game and construct your own boat with soft play blocks.

Educational visits

Unfortunately due to Covid19 we are not currently leading face to face visits and workshops.

We are taking bookings for school and group visits in 2021, these bookings will be dependent on future national and local lockdowns.

Look out for our new Zoom activities which we will be launching in October.

To make a booking for 2021 or to register your interest in Zoom activities please complete our enquiry form.

In the meantime, we have lots of activities on our website. Take a look at the Learning from Home bundles with themed activities for schools, groups and homeschoolers, the Canal & River Challenge Badge for uniformed groups, Let’s Go Outdoors for ideas to visit your local canal or river and Make and Play for crafts and games.
