We hope we’ve answered all your questions but if there is anything else you would like to know before your visit, please do get in touch.
Do I need to book online?
It isn't necessary to book online before you visit. However, if you are visiting as part of a large group or are interested in purchasing boat trip tickets for a number of people, we advise ringing ahead to check availability.
How do I get involved?
At the musuem we have a fantastic team of experienced and passionate volunteers who help us care for the site, deliver excellent visitor experience, lead guided tours, and even work with us to develop exhibitions. We are always recruiting new volunteers to join the team and invite you to find out more here, or by talking to a member of the team during your visit.
Are your toilets accessible?
Yes, we have accessible toilets on the ground floor.
Is the tea room open for food and drinks?
