You’ll find out lots of interesting facts about the aqueduct and area, be able to handle some of the tools the builders used, learn about how they built Ponty and have a go at building our wooden aqueduct model.

2. Enjoy a barista coffee

Or tea - and a freshly made baguette, slice of cake or ice-cream from the Canalside coffee shop. Then just kick back and watch the boats drift by.

3. Take a boat trip

Either the two hour leisurely canal boat trip from Llangollen or the 45 minute trip starting from Trevor Basin.

4. Cycle along the full 11 miles of the World Heritage Site

But don’t worry if you didn’t bring your bike with you. You can hire one www.hirecycles2go.co.uk. You'll need to walk your bike over the aqueduct itself and remember to ring your bell when you go under bridges and to warn other people that you want to share the space.
