Conservator volunteer
By becoming a conservator volunteer, you'll help tackle some of the toughest issues on the waterways.
What you'll be doing
Activities in this role typically include:
- day to day maintenance
- heritage restoration
- graffiti removal
- environmental enhancements such as hedgelaying
- creating new access points by building or improved steps or ramps
The skills you need
No specific skills required, but a willingness to learn new skills and an ability to travel to remote locations are important.
