Conservator volunteer

By becoming a conservator volunteer, you'll help tackle some of the toughest issues on the waterways.

  • What you'll be doing

    Activities in this role typically include:

    • day to day maintenance
    • heritage restoration
    • graffiti removal
    • environmental enhancements such as hedgelaying
    • creating new access points by building or improved steps or ramps
  • The skills you need

    No specific skills required, but a willingness to learn new skills and an ability to travel to remote locations are important.
