The charity making life better by water

Plastic Pollution Pack

More than half a million pieces of plastic flow from our canals and rivers out into the ocean every year. This is having a negative impact on our wildlife, plant life and our own lives. Using our Plastic Pollution Pack, you can help make a difference in your local area.

Our Plastic Pollution Pack gives you information so that you can learn about the topic, links to other resources that you can read or watch, inspiration for next steps to share what you've learned with other people, and activities to create and do.

We hope the pack will help you reduce, reuse and recycle, and make small changes that have a big impact on the issue of plastic pollution.

Activities to download

Some of our activities involve getting together with other people or visiting your local canal or river. Please follow national and local government guidance at all times. Consider saving the activity for a later date if there are lockdown restrictions in your area.

If you're visiting the waterways, please keep your distance from both other people and moored boats. There may be people living aboard who are self-isolating or shielding.
