What is the Big Help Out?
The Big Help Out is a national volunteering event. With an aim to help people find the joy in volunteering, there will be lots of opportunities to take part.
Why support it?
We joined The Big Help Out in 2023, and an incredible 7.2 million people took part, nation-wide. It's an amazing chance to showcase how volunteering benefits both communities and those who take part.
How can you get involved?
You'll be able to join one of our amazing volunteering opportunities. We'll have an incredible variety of roles that keep our precious 250-year old network of canals and rivers alive. We'll be adding more opportunities, so don't worry if you can't find anything in your area, keep checking in.
