The charity making life better by water

Two women in summery clothing walk along the towpath past a widebeam work boat.

Old Ford Lock and Bow Wharf

On the junction of the Regent's Canal and Hertford Canal, Old Ford Lock and Bow Wharf are fine examples of our working industrial heritage.

The area has undergone significant changes with the development of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and provides a traffic-free cycling or walking route along the towpath to navigate the city.

Explore Victoria Park, one of London's most-visited green spaces, and use our spotters guide to discover the local wildlife. A short walk along the Regen'ts Canal will take you to Mile End Ecology Park.
