We have joined forces with the West Midlands police to launch a new neighbourhood watch scheme on the region’s historic canal network.
We're asking you to share your favourite pictures of the famous Caen Hill Lock flight on the Kennet & Avon Canal as part of a photo competition to ‘Share the Love’ for this popular canal.

A unique arts event on Friday 2 February, as part of National Storytelling Week, will see a free public open weekend on the 3 and 4 February. Plus, new, handmade lock gates are being installed at the first lock on the Aire & Calder Navigation at Leeds Dock.

delighted to have attended the 2018 People’s Postcode Lottery annual Charity Gala where it was announced that £93.4 million was awarded to charities and good causes in 2017 – thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Two locks gates – each weighing approximately three tonnes – have been craned out and replaced from the Grand Union Canal near Tring this week.
Work to remove around 14,000 tonnes of silt from Canning Half Tide Dock in Liverpool is due to start next week, ensuring the vital amenity is accessible for the many deep-drafted vessels and international boating events that use the city’s docks.

This January sees the start of a major £2.5 million project to repair part of the historic Peak Forest Canal in Marple, Cheshire.
We've begun work at Pollington Lock on the Aire & Calder Navigation to replace three sets of giant lock gates.

The 2018 Crick Boat Show, Britain’s biggest inland waterways event, will be held on 26-28 May at Crick Marina, near Daventry in Northamptonshire. Advance tickets are now on sale, saving 15 per cent on the entry price.
