Your group visit might include:

  • coffees and welcome talk on arrival in the Waterside café
  • museum visit including canal archive films
  • canal boat trip on historic boat Sculptor
  • lunch at The Boat Inn, Navigation or the Spice of Bruerne
  • canal-side walk (including audio guide option)
  • tea and cake in the Waterside café
  • visit to our museum shop

Plus, we’ll help you plan your visit with lots of advice on what to do while you’re here and you can even come along for a free site tour beforehand to see the available resources. If you are a teacher, you can even download our educational support information from our Explorers pages.

For coach trip visits:  group discounts for parties of 10 or more  
For school and children’s groups:  
Up to 25 children  £3.00 per head
Over 25 children  £2.75 per head
Workshops and activities led by the Explorer education team (including water safety sessions)  free
Accompanying adults for schools and children’s groups   free
