Boston Lock
Outgoing journeys from the river: Boaters need to be on the quayside 30mins prior to level time and once passed through the lock they must use Radio channel 12 to inform port control in order to pass through flood barrier.
Incoming journeys from tidal side: Boaters must contact the lock keeper 30 mins prior to arrival by phone or radio channel 74, to confirm their time of arrival and in order for the lock keeper to give instructions.
Oversized craft: Any craft over 45ft length must go out on second level which is two hours after high tide.
