The charity making life better by water

Nottingham - Victoria Embankment

Victoria Embankment is a grand, landscaped park alongside the mighty River Trent in Nottingham. Only a 30-minute walk from Nottingham city centre, this historical public space was built at the turn of the 20th century with a Grade-II listed bandstand still in use today.

Take a stroll along the River Trent, relax with a picnic in the Memorial Gardens, or explore the city from the water with a boat trip. Make sure to view the historic Trent Bridge, thought to date back to the mediaeval period – although the current bridge was constructed between 1868-71.
