The charity making life better by water

Two small birds with brown heads and wings, and white underbellies, perch on a thin branch in front of grass and water.

Glasson Branch (Lancaster Canal)

Alongside an impressive variety of birdlife, the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal affords lovely views across Morecambe Bay to the high fells of the Lake District.

The Glasson branch of the Lancaster Canal meanders for 2.5 miles through the tranquil countryside of the Conden Valley to the saltings and marshland, leading to the River Lune.

Situated in the North West region, this idyllic waterway is popular for walking, paddling, fishing and nature spotting.
