We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.
We have a variety of office-based roles for volunteers looking to work with our specialist teams in locations all around the country.
It's not all about getting your hands dirty and knowing everything about boats and locks. Volunteering with the Canal & River Trust can be just as much about sitting behind a desk and helping our specialist teams to protect and promote our cherished waterways. These tasks can involve anything from updating information on our GIS system, to data entry or researching waterway heritage in library archives. Some tasks can even be done from home.
Our office-based roles often appeal to graduates looking for work-experience, or professionals considering a career-change, but equally you could simply have skills that you are pleased to share, or interests that you would like to explore. To find your ideal office-based volunteer role use our Search.
