Our ambassadors help promote the value of our nations canals and rivers by attending events, promoting our Share the Space campaigns and engaging with potential and existing supporters and customers alike. As an ambassador you can help not only represent the Trust, but connect more people to our unique environment and raise awareness for canals.
What you'll be doing
Ambassadors are all about public events, specific opportunities when we invite members of the public to join us, learn more, try a new activity on the waterways and find out more about the Trust.
We have other roles which complement our ambassadors by engaging with customers on a day to day basis, outside out events programmes: rangers, lock keepers, explorers, waterside champions and youth engagement roles.
Activities within this role can include:
- attending other organisations’ events and taking the Trust to them
- giving talks in the local community to adult groups
- promoting the waterways in other ways in your local community
- helping at events at our museums and attractions to share our amazing museums’ collections
