Stories with Santa at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester

Stories with Santa

Santa is back at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester this year for the well-loved Stories with Santa experience. During December, Santa will provide a 30 minute experience for little ones and their carers in a group session with other families. Listen to a Christmas story and then come and collect a present from the man himself.

The 30 minute sessions will run on Saturdays throughout December. Tickets cost £12.50 (1 Child and up to 1 Adult) and include entry to the museum on that day. We have a wonderful range of festive drinks and cakes available in our tea rooms and an Elf trail in the galleries, so relax in the warm before or after your Santa experience.

Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before your ticket time slot and leave plenty of time to park if you are driving as Gloucester Quays can get very busy during December. Additional adults will be able to pay for standard Museum entry on the day or use their annual pass to get in free.

Christmas Afternoon Tea

Make your trip to the National Waterways Museum Gloucester special this December with a Christmas afternoon tea. Enjoy our festive take on the traditional afternoon tea this season with a selection of delicious cakes, finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and unlimited tea and filter coffee.

Book 48-hrs in advance. Call 01452 915676

£18.00 per adult. Add a child portion for £9 (under 14)

Elf Trail

Santa is back at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester this December and elves have been helping us to set up the grotto. Unfortunately some of them have got lost in our galleries and we need your help to find them.

Our Elf trail is running throughout December an is included in the museum admission price.

Opening hours

The museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 10am-3pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm. The last day of opening this December is 21st December.**
