70-minute Locking the Severn Tour

Join us on our new 70-minute tour and find out about how trade along the River Severn developed over the last 1,000 years.

As you walk along the banks of the Severn in Worcester, you will hear about how it became famous worldwide through its trade in gloves, porcelain and a sauce that was accidentally created.

By the end of the tour you will understand why the Severn was 'locked' in the 1840's by weirs, which led to the Unlocking the Severn' project
