Using voice, rhythm, storytelling and creative expression, you'll explore the power of music and culture through a range of engaging activities. Drawing inspiration from musical traditions across the African and Caribbean diaspora, you'll have the chance to experiment with singing, body percussion and group rhythms in a relaxed and supportive environment.
No previous singing or musical experience is needed.
Expect a lively session filled with rhythm, movement, learning and connection as we celebrate the universal language of music and the stories it can tell.
Hosted aboard Jenna, the Canal & River Trust's community boat, this unique session offers an opportunity to connect with culture, creativity and community while enjoying time on and around the water. Join us to discover new experiences, meet new people and celebrate the rich stories, traditions and connections that make our waterways special.
