The Standedge Tunnel, the wonkiest in the world, is the setting for the Underworld, with the Canal & River Trust's trip boat making frequent journeys along the River Styx, ferrying lost souls to their maker. For those who return - and those who are to afraid to sample the dark - there is the Waterside Cafe. Car park by Marsden railway station (HD7 6DQ).
