Make & Mend Sewing
Make & Mend Sewing welcomes participants of all abilities and experience levels, supporting them to develop their confidence and practical sewing skills.
Participants work on a variety of projects, including tote bags, makeup bags and cushions, while developing skills in measuring, template making, fabric cutting, construction and finishing. They will also learn how to incorporate features such as buttons, zips and other hardware into their finished pieces.
Suitable for all ages, this welcoming and engaging event celebrates creativity and culture.
Hosted aboard Jenna, the Canal & River Trust's community boat, this special session offers an opportunity to share stories, connect with others and enjoy time on the water.
