This is for people in the local area who would like to join the walk to the Tobacco Dock You'll walk along Limehouse Cut, London's oldest canal. You'll learn a lot such as about the Grade 1 listed building which was built in 1812, primarily to house tobacco. It will be fun, you'll talk to some positive people and enjoy nature on the way! You're also very welcome to join us after for refreshments on Jena the canal boat, which will be moored next to Poplar Union. The walk is accessible. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining. However with all the fallen leaves the tow path (even if it is not raining) it can be muddy/slippy so stout shoes are really required (stronger than recommended).
