Come along and help care for one of Wales' most beautiful waterways. Our weekly Towpath Task Force sessions are open to everyone, whether you're a regular volunteer or simply fancy giving it a try.
Activities vary each week and may include:
- Painting fences and canal-side features
- Cutting back vegetation and improving towpaths
- General maintenance tasks
- Litter picking and conservation work
It's a great way to get outdoors, meet new people, learn new skills and make a real difference to the Mon & Brec Canal and the local community.
No experience is needed, and all abilities are welcome. Just wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor work.
When: Every Thursday
Who: Open to everyone
What to bring: Suitable outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes and plenty of enthusiasm!
Why not come along and give it a go? Even a few hours of your time can help keep the canal looking its best for everyone to enjoy.
