A one-day workshop with Jo Cross introducing the art of wire-wrapped jewellery making.

A one-day workshop with Jo Cross introducing the art of wire-wrapped jewellery making. Participants will learn two or three different techniques of wire wrapping.

The workshop will start off with students working with sea glass type materials. Once students have mastered the wrapping techniques and the use of the tools, they will progress to smoother surfaces like tumble stones or fused glass.

If students have a particular stone or piece of glass that they would like to bring to wrap, the demonstrator can advise if the size is large enough for wrapping, and advise them with techniques.

Students usually go away with a minimum of three pieces of jewellery.
