The walk will be led by Canal & River Trust volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.
Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!
We'll meet at the Blu Ivy Cafe then go down to Old Ford Lock. Then there will be a straight route down along Mile End Park. There will be different sights to see, like the Ecology Pavilion, Bancroft Jewish Cemetery, Green Bridge, Queen Mary UL campus, Ragged School Museum, and Limehouse Basin. We'll finish at Limehouse Overground.
There will be opportunities to stop along the way. The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining.
