To celebrate the museum’s 50th anniversary we’ll be going back to our roots with a range of immersive ‘Living Museum’ activities taking place throughout the weekend. Dressed in period costume, we’ll be showcasing a range of traditional canal skills and crafts including historic narrowboat lock demos, needlework, paint, roping and lacing.
Family friendly activities include live music and dance, new museum trails, exhibitions and tours including our new behind-the-scenes film location tour of Netflix’s House of Guinness.
