The route takes us along the towpath and includes a section of the 'Solar Walk' (starting at Maunsel Upper Lock), a Lengthman's Hut, Swan Neck, Cogload and Charlton Orchard. On reaching Charlton, we will return to Maunsel and expect to arrive at the Maunsel Tearooms between 12:30pm and 1pm, where you will be able to purchase refreshments, should you wish.
There are toilet facilities at the Tearooms but not along the towpath.
This walk is not suitable for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.
