The route takes us from the car park to St Michael's Church and onwards to the River Tone. Following the river downstream to Ham, we will then follow the farm drove and public footpath to Knapp Bridge. After crossing the bridge, we will then walk upstream to Charlton, and join the canal towpath to walk back to our starting point at Creech St Michael.

Canal Car Park, Vicarage Lane, TA3 5PR. (This is located at the end of Vicarage Lane, turn left along the track and over the railway bridge. The car park is at the end of this track).
This is a varied, relatively level walk which takes us to St Michael's Church and on towards the River Tone. The route follows public footpaths and farm droves, returning via the canal towpath.
