This is a varied, level walk which will follow the towpath to Standards Lock. Depending on the weather and conditions underfoot, we will return to the car park via the Somerset Levels and Northmoor Corner. If that is not possible, we will return along the towpath.
Walk participants should meet at the car park by Maunsel Tearooms, Banklands Lane, North Newton, Bridgwater, TA7 0DH. The What3Words location reference is: movies.summit.roaming
The walk will start at 10am and is approximately 3.5 miles long. We expect to return to the car park by approximately 12:30pm.
There are toilet facilities & refreshments at the tearooms.
Unfortunately this route is not suitable for wheelchair users.
