Stained Glass Painting Workshop at Ellesmere Yard

Starts: 14 March 2026

Ends: 14 March 2026

11am-2pm

Ellesmere Yard, Birch Road, Ellesmere, SY12 9AA

A heritage-based workshop at Ellesmere Yad, including a guided tour of the nature and built environment, followed by a workshop with a stained glass artist.

Join us at Ellesmere Yard for a free, hands-on creative workshop where heritage, nature and traditional craft meet.

The session begins with a guided tour of the Yard, exploring its historic buildings, canal-side setting and surrounding natural environment. You’ll then be introduced to stained-glass painting with Harriet Love, a skilled maker based on site, who will guide you through turning your ideas into painted glass. No experience is needed.

Your finished pieces will be fired after the session and brought together as part of a collaborative stained-glass panel, to be displayed when Ellesmere Yard’s new community and events space opens.

All materials are provided. The workshop is relaxed and sociable, offering a chance to discover the site, learn a new skill and contribute to an artwork that will become part of Ellesmere Yard’s story.

Places are limited, so booking in advance is essential.
