The actual route taken will depend on the weather and conditions underfoot on the day of the walk. The aim is to walk along the towpath to Firepool Lock, and then onto Morrisons for a short break, with the intention of returning via the River Tone along the public footpath. However, if conditions underfoot prevent this, then we will return via the towpath.
The walk starts from Bathpool Canalside car park, at the end of Dyers Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BZ.

We will meet in the car park at 10am. The walk is approximately 4.5 miles and we expect to be back at the car park by 1pm.
There is a café and toilet facilities at Morrisons.
Unfortunately, this walk is not suitable for wheelchair users.
