A series of monthly circular walks exploring the canal between Leeds and Skipton in small 3 to 5 mile chunks and all accessible by public transport. Each walk will take place at 10:30am on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
This is a 4.25 mile circular walk starting and finishing at the Stansfield Arms in Apperley Bridge (BD10 0NP).
We meet outside the Stansfield arms to start the next part of this route
As we do with these canal based walks we take in the chance to explore local paths. This walk takes in the outskirts of bottom farm before joining the canal and then through Dawson wood before heading back conventionally along the canal to Appleby bridge.
