Device information	o Device name. o Device MAC address. o Device local LAN IP.	For authentication purposes.	Legitimate Interest. The Trust has a legitimate interest in identifying and authenticating devices connecting to its network to maintain security and prevent unauthorised access.
Location information	o Location of device around the Trust network.	For monitoring purposes, to ensure sufficient bandwidth capacity is provided.	Legitimate Interest. Monitoring device location helps optimise network performance and resource allocation. This processing is necessary for efficient service delivery and does not override the user’s rights.
Activity information	o Name of the services or websites your device has connected to. o Data usage (sent/received). o Signal quality. o Active time.	To ensure compliance with the Trust’s internet use policy. To monitor bandwidth used. To check performance of the service. To measure bandwidth availability during busy periods.	Legitimate Interest. The Trust has a legitimate interest in managing and maintaining its IT infrastructure, enforcing its acceptable use policy, and ensuring fair use and service quality for all users. Monitoring is proportionate and necessary to protect network integrity
