Our waterways are over 200 years old and are still used every day. This means that a lot of work goes into maintaining them.

These engineering projects are complex with lots of people involved, so they’re great for showcasing our STEM work in action. We've used real-life engineering works at Knowle Locks to develop a classroom case study with accompanying learning resources to aid your STEM lessons.
