Come and join us for some fun on the water.
We want you to enjoy your visit to our canals and rivers, so we work hard to keep them safe and welcoming. Although rare, incidents and accidents sometimes happen. When they do, it’s very important for us to find out as much as possible about these events to help us to continue to keep the waterways safe.

Help us keep our canals clean from a canoe.
Our canals and rivers are used by more people and for a wider variety of purposes than ever before. We need to keep one eye on future possibilities, while of course preserving the historic and natural environment of our waterways.
We're proud of the great variety of wildlife living on our canals and rivers, from smooth newts to mighty oaks. Take a look at the biodiversity of our wonderful waterways.
Join us and you’ll get to work with a friendly and enthusiastic team of people. We work in a wide variety of roles all around England and Wales, but we all care passionately about our canals and rivers.
Christmas shopping can be stressful. But relax. We've put together a list of high streets just a hop skip and a jump from some of our favourite canals and rivers. So if it all gets too much, you can escape the crowds and clear your head by the calming water.
Everyone is welcome to the Canal Museum here in Stoke Bruerne. You'll find a level access from the car park to the canal towpath and toilet facilities, plus ramped access to the museum café and shop.
