Once a busy industrial canal wharf, Aldermaston Wharf is now a picture of tranquillity. It's great place to start exploring the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal. And it's not just narrowboats these days, increasingly Aldermaston Wharf is the starting point for canoe trails.
Back on the towpath, while the Canal & River Trust are the charity who are responsible for the care of over 2,000 miles of waterways, including the K&A, we also work closely with our neighbouring charity, the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust at Aldermaston Wharf. They run a café and museum.
