Please be advised that navigation between these locks will be temporarily suspended for two days to allow essential emergency repair works to be carried out on Embankment 29.
To enable the works to be completed safely and effectively, the water level will be lowered below normal navigable depth for the duration of the closure.
This is necessary to prevent inundation of the worksite caused by boat traffic and to allow contractors to progress repairs and secure the embankment.
Upon completion of this phase of works, navigation will reopen and water levels will continue to be managed while allowing boat traffic to resume.
