Third-party contractors will be on site at Railway Bridge 45A on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to carry out a detailed inspection of the bridge.
The works will take place from 8am until 6pm on Monday, 16 November 2026.
To be able to inspect the bridge, a pontoon and scaffolding tower will be in place, and we request that all customers approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out of the way for safe passage.
We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes.
