Third-party contractors will be on site between Stanley Dock Top Lock and Bridge 2C, Marsh Lane Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, to carry out the installation of a protection system for the gas pipelines under the towpath.
The works will take place between 8:00 am on Monday, 2 November 2026 and 6:00 pm on Monday, 30 November 2026.
Whilst the towpath will remain open, there may be a slight delay whilst the area is made safe to pass. Please approach the area with caution, be prepared to stop if required, and follow any instructions given by the third-party contractors on site.
