Winter opening times 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 Through the 2026/2027 winter season, passage can be booked through Bingley Three & Five Rises and Kirkstall to Newlay Locks, with a minimum of 72 hours' notice. To make a booking, please sign in to the online licensing pages and click on 'my boats.' Follow the link the 'bookings' section. https://licensing.canalrivertrust.org.uk/ To help us manage boats and water resources efficiently, we are asking customers to plan their passages using the following information. First passage is available from 9am and the last passage is 1pm daily. Following the last daily passage these locks will be locked up. Christmas & New Year: The Locks will be closed to passage on the 25 & 26 December 2026 and 1st January 2027
