Third-party contractors will be on site at Railway Bridge 74A on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to repair the brickwork and remove vegetation.
The works will take place from 8 am on Monday 2 November 2026 until 6 pm on Friday 27 November 2026.
Whilst the towpath and navigation will remain open, a pontoon and scaffolding will be in place during the works. Please approach the area with caution, be prepared to stop if required, and follow any instructions given by the third-party contractors on site.
We expect any delays to be no longer than 30 minutes.
