Third-party contractors will be on site between Barnton Tunnel West Portal on the Trent & Mersey Canal and the disused Saltersford Small Middle Lock on the Weaver Navigation to undertake telegraph pole replacements.
The works will take place between 8 am and 5 pm on Friday, 23 October 2026.
Although the towpath remains open throughout the works, customers are asked to approach the area with caution and follow any instructions provided by the contractors on site.
There may be a short delay whilst equipment is moved out of the way.
