The fencing around Selby Swingbridge has been vandalised and has been damaged. This fencing is needed to be able to operate the Swingbridge safely. We are closing the swingbridge over the weekend and from Monday 12th October we will operating it on assisted passage only at 9am every day next week. We are looking to be repairing the fencing next week as it is a currently a trap hazard whilst the fencing is damaged. We will update the notice at the end of the week, when we are able to see the progression of the repairs and to be able to assess the progression for the following week (w/c 19th October)
